Tumultous Times-alliteration!

2006/02/27 - 8:45 p.m.

Good and bad news. Mostly bad news. 1. After my lousy infection that kept me out of training for about 3 weeks, more bad luck strikes. Sunday night, while playing for the weird cup thingy with lds, some super-tall crazy lady bashed my teeth in. I can't run for at least 5 days, and I can forget about basketball for at least 2 weeks. Troublesome and frustrating. 2. We lost to Jurong, even though we could've and should've won. 3. Cindy's schoolbag got stolen by some despicable idiot. (she's got a test tomorrow). 4. Great/awesome/ok news. I got my JLPT results back. I passed!!! I got 100/100 for writing/vocab, 82/100 for listening, 189/200 for reading/grammar and my grand total is 371/400!!!!! I think that's pretty good, yeah?




Does anyone actually enjoy Ms Sebastian's LA lessons? I never, ever thought I'd say it, but I'm starting to dread LA. Instead, I look forward to AL. Ha. That's cool. I've yet to find someone from 203 other than perhaps Mengyuan who enjoys her lessons. And Mengyuan only said that ever since Ms Sebastian came along, her marks went 'whoosh' upwards. Rigid, that's what it is. Rigid and unbending. I think I'm starting to slide backwards.




I want to go to St. Nicks' funfair!!! Or fiesta. Whatever they're calling it. I'l call it a funfair. It's actually a graded assignment for them, so they'll put in effort to make sure it's a job well done. And I'll get to catch up with lots of old friends. But I've got training on Saturday, and I'd never ever ditch training, especially during our season. That's sad.
